I started on my sewing journey as a teenager, ignited by the frustration of searching for clothes that truly resonated with my soul and style. With my eclectic taste and a long torso, I found myself lost in the racks of generic options (that didn’t even fit) at the store. I firmly believe that clothes should fit YOU, not that you should fit into your clothes.

This passion for self-expression has opened incredible doors—leading me to join with a friend to create custom pieces for dolls inspired by remarkable historical women, sharing my skills by teaching sewing lessons at my beloved local fabric store, and collaborating with several companies to test their sewing patterns.

I consider myself truly blessed to have been surrounded by a tapestry of sewists throughout my life. My mother patiently crafted matching dresses for my sisters and me. My dear grandpa made the wedding dress for my grandmother, a testament to love and artistry. The very first sewing machine I received was a heartfelt gift from my church teacher, a gesture that sparked my creative spirit. Today, many of my closest friends share this passion, creating a vibrant community that inspires me daily. I am deeply grateful for the connections we forge through sewing—a bond that nourishes our souls and ignites our creativity.
